About Tracy Cook
People have the power within to change themselves and their health, all they need is knowledge, sound advice and encouragement.
Dr. Cook returned to Thunder Bay to practice as a Naturopathic Doctor in 2001. She is a general practitioner who can help patients cope with a wide variety of health concerns. She has particular experience treating thyroid, anxiety, stress, insomnia, arthritis and fatigue. She also offers Naturopathic care for chronic illnesses such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease. Her practice also has a focus on women’s health issues such as infertility, menopause, painful or irregular periods and PMS.
Dr. Cook has a passion for the outdoors and plant medicine, and a belief in a good quality of life. It is important to teach children the joys of an active living, nurture their connection with the wilderness and instill a love of learning and reading. We should all foster the cornerstones of health: good food, active living, sleep and meaning in life. She spends her spare time skiing, woodworking and hiking. She can often be found with a cup of tea and a good book.
