About Toni Reid
Dr. Toni received her Bachelor of Science (biochemistry co-operative education) degree from the University of Lethbridge and graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. She has furthered her naturopathic training by receiving certification in Environmental Medicine, completing advanced training in clinical nutrition and becoming a DONA trained birth doula. She is committed to empowering and supporting women who are pregnant or planning their families with pre-conception, prenatal and postnatal care, as well as labour support for women and their partners.
Naturopathic medicine provides the philosophy and therapy to regain our body’s natural ability to heal and maintain balance. Dr. Toni is passionate about guiding and supporting people of all ages to empower themselves with simple tools to achieve optimal health and prevent disease. She knows from personal experience that our bodies speak to us in a number of different ways, especially when there is a lack of balance in our lives. She is committed to empowering and supporting women who are pregnant or planning their families with pre-conception, prenatal and postnatal care, as well as labour support for women and their partners.
Dr. Toni is a registered naturopathic doctor with the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND) and the College of Naturopathic Doctors of Alberta (CNDA). Dr. Toni is a current member of Doulas of North America (DONA) International, the Calgary Doula Association, and the Business and Professional Women's Club of Calgary.
