About Tasreen Alibhai
Dr. Tasreen Alibhai, BSc (UBC), ND is the founder and clinic owner of Vitalia Health Care INC in Vancouver, British Columbia. She earned her Degree in Naturopathic Medicine at Bastyr University in 2000 after completing her Bachelor of Science degree at UBC. She has over 19 years of experience and education as a Naturopathic Doctor.
Through the years she has learned a lot about how the body works! Her practice has an emphasis on digestive health including SIBO and IBS, hormone balancing including bio-identical hormone replacement and adrenal health related to stress. Treating and balancing these key areas contribute to our overall health, wellness and prevention of further illness. Through a comprehensive health assessment and in depth laboratory testing, Dr Alibhai works with her patients to find the root cause of their health condition and develop effective naturopathic treatment strategies.
Dr Alibhai has received extensive training in functional medicine. Going through her own personal struggles with digestive health and hormones, she has learned a lot about treating these conditions. She continues to attend conferences and workshops in these areas to learn about the latest research and treatment options. She has completed a SIBO mastery course and numerous courses on both male and female hormone treatment.
Dr. Alibhai holds certifications in chelation therapy, IV therapy and has Prescribing Rights. Intravenous vitamin therapy has always been a large part of her practice. She regularly attends conferences on IV therapy to learn the most recent clinical updates, protocols and research.
