About Taraneh Ballew
Taraneh Ballew, ND received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto, in Toronto, Canada. Dr. Ballew then completed 4 years of study at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, Canada's premier naturopathic institution, to earn her doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine. Her education consisted of standard medical school training in the sciences, including all conventional methods of physical, clinical and laboratory diagnosis. In addition, she studied in-depth a wide range of holistic and non-toxic approaches to therapeutics and disease prevention. Dr. Ballew also completed 2 years of clinical training in naturopathic therapeutics and preventative medicine in a primary care out-patient setting.
Dr. Ballew is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians and the California Association of Naturopathic Physicians. In 2004, California became the 12th state to grant licensure to Naturopathic Doctors. Dr. Ballew has fulfilled all the required examinations and documentations and is a licenced Naturopathic Doctor in California.
Dr. Ballew's interest and seminars have included women and children's health, cardiovascular health, allergies, pain and stress management, and preventative care. She offers lectures on natural approaches to a variety of health topics for interested groups and organizations.
