About Tara Sloan
Tara graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto Ontario in 2006. She is a member in good standing with The College of Naturopaths of Ontario and is an active member of both the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND), and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND). Tara also holds an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology degree from McMaster University.
Tara is passionate about helping people and enjoys working with patients of all ages. She spends time listening to her patients’ histories and looking at the various environmental, diet, and lifestyle factors that can influence long-term health and chronic disease. She has a strong belief that if you understand your health, you will be more successful at achieving your goals. She works closely with her patients to educate them, and develop treatment plans that are specific to the individual.
Dr. Sloan, ND sees patients for a wide range of health
conditions as well as for optimal wellness. She has a special interest in treating chronic pain, injuries, migraines and mobility impairments that have been unresolved by other types of treatments both conventional and alternative with myoActivation. myoActivation is a refined myofascial trigger point release technique.
In addition to core naturopathic therapies and myoActivation, Tara is also trained in Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture – a non-surgical method of improving skin health and reducing the signs of ageing. It is a rejuvenation and revitalization process designed to help the whole body look and feel younger.
