About Taeseung Kim
Dr. Tae Kim graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. He went on to pursue 4 years of Naturopathic medical training at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine in New Westminster, where he received his Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine Diploma. He holds a BC license through the College of Naturopathic Physicians of British Columbia, CNPBC, and is a member of the BC Naturopathic Association, BCNA. At Evergreen Health Centre, Dr. Tae unites scientific knowledge with traditional and natural forms of treatment. He is a true advocate for the healing power of the body and strives to identify the root cause for imbalance.
As a primary physician, Dr. Tae’s first goal is to make patients feel better regardless of the chronicity of symptoms. His second goal is to find the cause of patients’ symptom. As a naturopathic physician, Dr. Tae is skilled in the following modalities: Clinical nutrition (“You are what you eat”); Botanical medicine (“Nature had it first”); Orthomolecular medicine to regulate physiological functions of the body; Traditional Chinese medicine and Acupuncture realign and rebalance the energy in the body; Homeopathic medicine (“Like cures like”); Naturopathic adjustment to correct any structural imbalance; Tuina (TCM form of deep tissue therapy) to enhance blood circulation and lymphatic drainage.
