About Sussanna Czeranko
Sussanna is the Co-Founder and Nature Care Leader at Manitou Waters. She graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in 1994 and has been in private practice since.
She recognizes the importance of taking the time needed to fully understand every patient’s health concerns and the impact of their ailments on their lives. Incorporating modern medical diagnostic methodologies and naturopathic assessment approaches are critical to her goal of achieving an accurate understanding of what needs to change in each patient’s life for optimal health.
The tools she brings to her naturopathic practice include dietary counseling using food and nutritional supplementation, herbal medicine, homeopathy, hydrotherapy, exercise, and modification to harmful lifestyle habits. Manitou Waters specializes in European healing practices such as mud baths and wraps, specialized baths using herbal preparations, seaweed, and minerals. Each patient receives a personalized treatment plan to restore their health and bring vitality back to their life.
Sussanna is a lifelong learner. In addition to regular continuing medical education in a wide range of health disciplines supporting naturopathic practice, she is certified in Buteyko Breathing Therapy (UK) to help patients with sleep apnea and respiratory disorders such as asthma and dyspnea. Her interest in earth therapies such as peat peloids has taken her to the Czech Republic, Hungary, Spain, and France to develop skills which complement naturopathic therapeutic modalities. She has studied balneotherapy with medical doctors from around the world and is a member of the International Society of Medical Hydrology (ISMH). Having studied the research in balneotherapy first hand, she has witnessed remarkable clinical success stories.
