Naturopathic medicine uses natural approaches to treat a person. When treating a person, we need to consider everything happening within the body from physical conditions to mental-emotional conditions. Since each body system (e.g., digestive, skin, cardiovascular, mental-emotional) is interconnected, it may be necessary to treat more than one body system in order to target the patient’s medical complaint.
