About Somphorn Thammasouk
Dr. Som Thammasouk is an avid lecturer who founded HealthSource Integrative Medical Centre with her husband, Dr. Reid. She received her naturopathic training at The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine after completing her premedical studies and receiving a Bachelor of Science at McMaster University.
Dr. Thammasouk’s practice encompasses all aspects of health and her areas of special interests include: healthy aging, women’s health & menopause, fertility, thyroid (including Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis) & adrenal related conditions, anxiety/depression, digestive-related conditions, weight loss, skin conditions (including eczema, vitiligo, acne, psoriasis), and the role of the mind in health and healing.
Dr. Thammasouk has also pursued training in healthy aging therapies and naturopathic cosmetic care to enhance health and beauty. She is a certified practitioner of Cosmetic Rejuvenation Acupuncture (an anti-aging skin therapy which helps improve fine lines), and IV vitamin therapy used to brighten skin tone and promote healthy aging.
