About Sharon Kang
I am a Naturopathic Doctor who has been practising in the Greater Hamilton Area since 2006. After obtaining my Honours Bachelor of Science in Biology from McMaster University, I completed the four year post-graduate program at the accredited Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in Toronto.
Prior to a focus in the field of Naturopathy, I was working in retail health as a sales manager at a family-owned small business, NutriSource. I gained much experience in customer service, sales and data management. I continued to work on a consulting-basis with the business after obtaining my license as a Naturopath.
I have operated a part-time naturopathic family practice for the last 13 years. During this time I have treated a variety of health conditions including neuropathy and pain management, digestive concerns, hormone and sleep disturbances, among others. I have a special interest in heart health and cardiovascular diseases and diabetes. In addition, I have training and extensive experience in Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture.
Aside from my practice, I am a proud mother to three young children. I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family, especially camping, biking, and running a local girl guides group.
