About Shantell Jovin
Shantell Jovin, B.Sc, ND graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and she is a registered practitioner through the College of Naturopaths of Ontario. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Barry University, Florida where she majored in Biology.
Dr. Jovin uses different treatment modalities in her practice such as: Asian Medicine/Acupuncture, Botanical (Herbal) Medicine, Clinical Nutrition, Homeopathy and Physical Medicine (various hands-on techniques for the spine, joints and soft tissues). Dr. Jovin has worked with Oncologists to provide nutraceuticals and acupuncture in treating the negative effects of chemotherapy. Dr Jovin has a special interest in the use of Acupuncture in her practise.
As a primary health care provider, Dr. Jovin has experience treating a wide spectrum of diseases in children, adults and the elderly. She has a special interest in Women’s health issues including fertility support through the use of acupuncture, herbal medicine and nutritional support. Dr. Jovin also has a special interest in treating senior health issues with various naturopathic modalities.
