About Sara Henderson
Dr. Henderson, Bsc., ND is dedicated to helping her patients reach their optimal state of health and wellness. She works to blend science with holistic healing methods while maintaining a strong focus on the mind-body connection.
She graduated from the University of Windsor with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Biological Sciences and Psychology with Thesis. She received her designation as a Naturopathic Doctor after four years of study at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, ON, Canada.
During her CCNM clinical year, Dr. Henderson worked in Hanoi, Vietnam, where she strengthened her knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine, and she has received specialist training in facial rejuvenation acupuncture and in the treatment of thyroid dysfunction. She continues to further her knowledge and techniques by participating in seminars and continuing education courses.
Dr. Henderson takes an eclectic approach to healing utilizes nutrition, botanical medicine, traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture, homeopathy, physical therapy and lifestyle counseling. Trained as a general care practitioner, she treats a variety of acute and chronic conditions including gastrointestinal disturbances, immune and adrenal suppression, womens health concerns and weight management.
Dr. Henderson also works as a Naturopathic Advisor to Jamieson Laboratories.
