As a naturopathic doctor (ND), I believe good health care should transform every area of your life. The naturopathic approach is not about arbitrarily taking the latest supplements or super-foods that are trendy right now. It involves a well thought out plan that is tailored to you. Every herb, nutritional supplement, diet and lifestyle recommendation is carefully selected based on your unique health history and symptoms.
My passion and main area of focus is helping patients with anxiety and high levels of stress. This includes Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety, Panic Disorder etc. I also work with people who are experiencing an uncomfortable amount of anxiety but have not been diagnosed with an anxiety disorder. I help people live a life with less worry and more joy. Nobody wants to feel like they’re afraid and worried all the time. Anxiety and high stress can interfere with your confidence, goals at work or school, the way you interact with others, your health choices and your overall peace of mind. Your mental health can ultimately determine whether or not you feel like you’re living your best life.
I have dedicated years to understanding the science behind natural ways to manage anxiety and high stress. The internet is full of confusing information out there about how to manage anxiety holistically. Using my training, education and experience with patients, I have done the heavy lifting to sift out what actually can work and what probably doesn’t work.
I have worked with many patients who are on all sorts of different paths to getting better. Some are taking medications, and some are not. Some are severely anxious, and some have mild anxiety. Some have not been diagnosed with anxiety but are stressed and burnt out. Some are ready for big changes, and others need baby steps. I support and work with whatever path is appropriate for my patients.
