About Rita Patel
Rita Patel ND is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor with private practice clinics at Sprains & Strains Wellness Center in Mississauga and the Campus Health Centre at McMaster University in Hamilton.
Rita supervises patient care by fourth-year interns at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic (RSNC) and the Brampton Naturopathic Teaching Clinic (BNTC). In addition, she assists in teaching Physical and Clinical Diagnosis and Primary Care at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. Furthermore, she is a professor at McMaster University for the Naturopathic Medicine course within the Life Science program.
Rita has a special interest in digestive health, hormonal health, womens health, pain management, and weight management.
Rita is a member in good standing with the Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy-Naturopathy. In addition, she is a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND) and the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND).
