About Philip Balcaen
Dr. Philip Balcaen is a Naturopathic Doctor. He is the founder, owner and principal Naturopathic Doctor at Sardis Naturopathic Medical Clinic, since its inception in 2000. He is an alumnus of the University of Waterloo Health Sciences Program, earning a Bachelor of Science degree with honours in 1994, before proceeding to to the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. He graduated in 1998, earning recognition for the most outstanding diagnostic skills and improving the standard of Naturopathic Medicine. Shortly after, he started Chilliwack’s first Naturopathic clinic. Dr. Balcaen is licensed to prescribe as an ND, and is trained and certified to practice, administer intravenous injections, chelation therapy, prolotherapy. He uses an approach that incorporates functional lab and genomic testing to provide viable treatment programs for a wide range of health issues, including cancer, cardiovascular issues, chronic infections such as Lyme disease, neurological disorders, auto-immune diseases, endocrine conditions, mental health issues and digestive conditions.
