About Payam Kiani
Payam Kiani is a naturopathic doctor with a passion for family medicine, health education and prevention, and he is board certified in naturopathic oncology. He completed his bachelor degree in Life Sciences from McMaster University and is a graduate from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM). He has worked in private practice since 2005 and is a faculty member at CCNM where he supervises interns in its teaching clinic.
As a Fellow of the American Board of Naturopathic Oncology (FABNO), he is one of only a handful of naturopathic doctors in Canada who have earned board certification in naturopathic oncology. His aim is to improve outcomes for individuals suffering with cancer through naturopathic medicine, and to support them before, during, and after their conventional treatments.
In his practice, Dr. Kiani treats many chronic and acute conditions cancer, intestinal disorders, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, weight management, immune dysfunction, food allergies, heavy metal toxicity, and pain management to name a few. He has additional training in intravenous vitamin therapy and acupuncture and has traveled to the United States, China, and Vietnam to continue his search for effective natural treatments for his patients. Payam has always been passionate about educating and empowering his patients to take charge of their own health. He believes in working as a team with his patients and networking with other healthcare practitioners. His therapies integrate clinical nutrition, herbal and mineral supplementation, homeopathic medicine, intravenous vitamin therapy, detoxification, and acupuncture, and counseling.
