About Orest Szczurko
Dr. Orest Szczurko, N.D., M.Sc. graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Biology with Pre-Medical Science specialty from the University of Waterloo In 1999.
Upon completion of his undergraduate studies, Orest entered the four year Naturopathic Medicine program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in Toronto, Ontario. In May 2003, after a year of internship, he graduated from CCNM, earning the Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (ND) designation. He has since founded the Noumena Naturopathic Health and Wellness Centre and continually helps his patients in central Mississauga.
While practicing at the Noumena Naturopathic Clinic, Dr. Orest also joined the research team at CCNM in 2004 until 2013. There he designed and conducted clinical research trials to further add to the knowledge about evidence based Naturopathic treatments.
To stay at the forefront of medical and naturopathic discoveries, from 2005 Dr. Orest worked on and in 2010 completed his post-graduate research at the University of Toronto’s Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy
