About Nyla Jiwani
Dr. Nyla Jiwani, originally from Vancouver, BC has lived and practiced in Oakville, Ontario for ten years. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences from the University of British Columbia. She completed four years at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine to successfully become a licensed Naturopathic Doctor in 2003. Dr. Jiwani is a member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors, the Canadian Naturopathic Association and is also regulated by the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO), under the Naturopathy Act, 2007.
Dr. Jiwani has additional training in Intravenous (Parenteral) Therapy, Intramuscular Injections, First Line Therapy, Metabolic Balance Weight Management, Cosmetic Facial Rejuvenation, Detoxification, Food Allergy Testing and is also a certified Craniosacral Therapist. To remain current on new research in medicine, Dr. Jiwani regularly attends conferences to continually improve the care she gives her patients. Dr. Jiwani has successfully passed the Prescribing Exam and has the ability to prescribe drugs and substances listed on Table 3 of general regulation.
She continues to provide Intravenous Therapy services at ONWC. Over the years she has developed a general family practice. Dr. Jiwani focuses on weight loss, women’s health, pediatrics and fertility.
