About Nora Pope
Nora Jane Pope, B.A., N.D., practices Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto since 2001. She uses Classical Homeopathy, Clinical Nutrition, Botanical Medicine, Acupuncture and Counseling. She has a special interest in Drug-Herb interactions, Pregnancy, Pediatrics, Neurology and Gynecology.
Since 1995, Nora Jane promotes menstrual cycle charting as a means of Fertility Awareness, family planning and as well as a tool for the early diagnosis of infertility, gynecological conditions and some types of epilepsy.
She is a popular public speaker and health educator and lectures to nurses, social workers, physicians, surgeons, naturopathic doctors and the general public since 1999. She has lectured on Drug-Herb interactions at NYU Medical Center, on pre- and post-surgical care for the Surgical Rounds at North York General Hospital, on eco-friendly birth control at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, on epilepsy across Ontario and in New York City and on Naturopathic Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Prior to becoming a naturopathic physician, Nora Jane worked in the performing arts as a company manager and helped launch Health Sat, the hospital-based distance education satellite network for CE programs.
She has traveled to over 20 countries, speaks French, dances the Lindy Hop and is a red wine expert.
