About Nicole Meier
Nicole Meier, N.D. is a board-certified Naturopathic Doctor and founder of Cornerstone Health Centre in Georgetown, Ontario.
Her undergraduate degree (Honours B.Sc.) was granted in 1992 from Trent University and her medical training began in 1994, with a medical mission to South America, following which she began studying botanical medicine (Hoffmans Therapeutic Herbalism, 1996). Nicole graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2002 and was called to the profession later that same year. In 2007 she expanded her scope to include mind-body medicine at the Bensen-Henry Institute at Harvard Medical School. Soon after she began her Functional Medicine journey, studying for many years to become certified in Functional Medicine. In 2014 Nicole successfully met the requirements and sat the exam to become a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner.
Nicoles professional memberships include the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors, the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors, the Institute for Functional Medicine, and the International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society.
