About Nicole DeYonge
Dr. Nicole DeYonge (she/her) has a strong medical background with a Bachelor of Science Honours and Masters in Biomedical Science from the University of Guelph in addition to her Doctor of Naturopathy from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. During her education, Dr. Nicole was highly involved in improving student well-being and success, as an Executive and President of the Naturopathic Students’ Association, and received the Naturopathic Honour Award from her fellow graduates. Her internship involved a focus in complex chronic illnesses on the Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue shift, and community health through placements at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic and Anishnawbe Health Toronto. She is fully licenced and in good standing with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario and is a member of both the Ontario and Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND & CAND).
As a lover of nature and believer that our health is intertwined with our environment, she emphasizes the importance of a sustainable lifestyle in her patients’ health and in our community. She believes that naturopathic medicine is about teaching you how to listen to and understand your body while supporting your body through its healing. She helps individuals optimize digestive, hormone, brain, and immune health while finding clarity in complex health paradigms.
In her personal time, Dr. Nicole enjoys spending time with her pets (3 cats & 2 dogs), reading a good book, or exploring nature. She has been active and adventurous her whole life, engaging in travel and sports whenever possible. She also loves coffee, chocolate, and live music.
