About Nicole Daniels
Dr. Nicole is a licensed and board certified Naturopathic Doctor. She has over 10 years of medical education, including a Honours Bachelor of Medical Science at University of Western Ontario, a Masters of Science in Biology at York University and a Naturopathic Doctorate from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. Continuing education is incredibly important to her, as she keeps her medical knowledge current by attending seminars, doing evidence-based research and writing scientific articles. Volunteering is a second passion of hers, and she enjoys being active in the community by giving health related talks, workshops, and guest teaching at highschools and women's centers.
Since she was a teenager, Dr. Nicole has always wanted to be a doctor so that she could help others. As a child she had experienced her own chronic health issues which stemmed from food sensitivities (which was not discovered until she was an adult) hence, she understands what it's like to undergo numerous tests without answers and allopathic treatments without improvement. After that experience she vowed to be a health advocate for others so that they wouldn't have to undergo a similar frustrating experience as she did. Through her specialized education and experience, Dr. Nicole has learned that health is multi-factorial and interconnected. All aspects of health are equally important - the mental, emotional, physical, spiritual, financial, stressful - they all contribute to your health and well-being. Dr. Nicole's job is to identify the key puzzle pieces that embody you and construct a natural treatment plan to address all these factors. Her ultimate goal is to help you achieve your health goals and to empower you in your own healing journey.
Dr. Nicole also has special training in other energetic medicines such as aruveyda, biotherapeutic drainage, homeopathic detoxification, iridology, colour therapy, art therapy and reiki. As an eclectic health practitioner, her role is to find the natural treatments that resonate best with the patient (whether it be traditional medicine, nutritional counseling, energetic medicine, or a combination of all three) and solidify them into a congruent treatment plan. She is here as a guide and advocate for your health, to work with you towards your health goals.
