Nicholas De Groot is the Dean at CCNM. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto and graduated with a Naturopathic Doctor diploma from CCNM.
In addition to his role at the College he serves as Chair of the Registration Committee of the Transition Council of the College of Naturopaths of Ontario. The role of the transitional Council is to ensure that appropriate legislative, governance and administrative structures are in place so that the College of Naturopaths of Ontario may effectively govern the profession in the best interest of the public. He also sits on an international working group (a subcommittee of the Association of Accredited Naturopathic Medical Colleges) looking at enhancing standards of naturopathic medical education. He is interested in exploring different ways that naturopathic medicine can enhance the delivery of primary care in Ontario.
