About Michael Rahman
Dr. Rahman ND founded Pinewood Natural Health Centre in Toronto in 1997 and expanded his practice into the Durham Region in 2003. Dr. Rahman ND also founded the Pinewood Institute for the Advancement of Natural Therapies in 2005.
As an avid lecturer and author, Dr. Rahman ND has lectured at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine for five years, where he also teaches students. He has written for local public health publications and professional journals. Dr. Rahman ND has also spoken at healthcare professional conferences throughout Canada and the United States on topics ranging from first aid to homeopathy.
Dr. Michael Rahman, ND completed his Bachelor of Science with an emphasis on biology at McMaster University in 1993. He continued his studies at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and completed a four-year post-graduate program in Toronto in 1996. He is actively registered to practice in Ontario, British Columbia, and Vermont. He is an active member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors, the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors, the British Columbia Naturopathic Association, the Vermont Association of Naturopathic Physicians, the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, the Georgia Association of Naturopathic Physicians, and the Florida Association of Naturopathic Physicians. Dr. Rahman also holds a chapter officer position in the American Medical Student Association.
In 2018 Dr. Rahman ND continued his education completing his Distinguished Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biological Science. In 2019 he co-authored six research publications in The Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB) Journal.”
