About Meghan Joy Dertinger
I’m a Naturopathic Doctor who treats brains, pains and strains along with anything else that stands between you and the impact you’ve dreamed.
I have a passion for science and a respect for healing traditions.
As a Naturopathic Doctor I’ve completed four years of medical sciences, pharmacology and natural therapies at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) after four years in the Arts and Science program at McMaster University.
I accomplished a residency at CCNM then supervised 4th year students at the RSNC.
I enjoy teaching students how diagnose complicated cases, how to find the best treatments and evaluate evidence.
After completing 10 years of post-secondary education, teaching Naturopathic students and conducting original research, you can rest assured that I am qualified to be your health strategist.
I help people optimize their mental health and enjoy pain-free movement. I am passionate and experienced in the field of mental health, treating depression, anxiety, OCD, bipolar and more. I’ve learned from Dr. Prousky ND and am currently conducting a research study on the topic. I’m trained in sports medicine and have a knack for assessing movement. I take a multifaceted approach to treating chronic pain and injuries using supplements, acupuncture, diet and soft tissue work. Patients have told me I have “magic hands”, but I use my understanding of fascia and physiology to guide treatment.
