About Martha Grant
I completed a Bachelor of Arts degree (honours) with a double major in History and International Relations at the University of Toronto, Trinity College. After working in the private sector for a number of years, I attended the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in Toronto and completed the four-year post-graduate program. Upon graduating CCNM in 2010, I went on to complete the two-year Residency Program at CCNM.
I opened Creekside Naturopathic Clinic in 2012, and look forward to many years working with the residents of Schomberg and surrounding communities.
I have been involved in Naturopathic Medicine for most of my life; first as a patient, beginning when I was a child and continuing to this day, and now as a practitioner.
When my family and I moved to Schomberg we immediately began enjoying the landscape, the activities and the sense of community we found here.
I believe strongly in fostering a work/life balance, but also recognize that it can be one of the most difficult things to achieve. This is something I'm always working towards with myself, and encourage my patients to work on as well.
As a practitioner, it is important to me that my patients feel comfortable with the clinic, the direction of treatment, as well as with myself. I also believe it is important that the patient is involved in the process of managing and achieving their own health goals. With that in mind, I always try to take the time to discuss the direction of treatment and answer any questions that may arise.
