About Marie-Eve Bedard
Dre Marie-Eve Bedard, Podiatrist chose to embark on podiatry realizing that several health problems are linked to the feet. The field of podiatry is a varied and complex field. She enjoys taking the time to talk to her patients so that they understand the source of their pain and explain the treatment plan in detail. Being a podiatrist isn't just a job, it's the privilege of being able to help people on a daily basis. For people who work standing up, she sees their feet as working tools. For retired people, it is their autonomy and independence. For others, the feet are used for their leisure activities. No matter how we use them, they are essential.
My father had quadruple bypass surgery at 49 years old. My mother died of metastatic breast cancer at age 50. The same year I lost my mother, I had a car accident that left me in chronic pain for 4 years. In my first Essentrics® trial class, it was the first time in years that I had experienced true pain relief, without any medication.
It goes without saying that I quickly became addicted to it; the fluidity and amplitude of the movements, the dynamism and strength of the tempos, the flexibility and awareness of the body in space. It literally changed my life. I quickly discovered that it is one of the most powerful ways to restore the body, stay fit, and age beautifully. I had found the power to heal myself and embarked on my own journey to health, wellness and better living with compassion.
A biologist by training, I became an Associate Essentrics® Instructor and Certified Naturopath. I am often described as a kind-hearted person who teaches (and lives) with passion and energy. Authentic and smiling, I like to guide and support each person on their own journey.
