About Margaret Melanson
I graduated in 2000 from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto from a four-year, full-time naturopathic program that included a year-long clinical internship. I then wrote international board examinations to become licensed as a naturopathic doctor.
In my former career, I was also a part of the health care system, working at various hospitals in Nova Scotia as a medical laboratory technologist for over twenty years. These days I look at blood test results from a different point of view.
My aim as a naturopathic doctor is to help people of all ages reach their health goals, whether that means decreased pain or other symptoms, or increased energy and vitality, or help with serious conditions.
As a naturopath I focus on prevention, addressing the cause of illness, and using natural substances and treatments to support the body’s ability to heal itself.
