About Lorraine McCarthy
Lorraine McCarthy is a doctor of Naturopathic Medicine and has practiced in Ottawa and West Edmonton since graduating from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2004. Her background in Naturopathic Medicine has also created opportunities for Lorraine to work in the regulation of natural health products at Health Canada and as a health advisor and physiology instructor at the Guanacaste Waldorf School in Costa Rica. She lives in Rio terrace in the west end of Edmonton with her husband and three children.
Lorraine's greatest passion is in helping families become healthier. As a mother of three children herself, she understands the deep concern that parents have for their children's health and the desire of so many parents to use natural approaches and remedies. She also understands the support many women and men are giving to their own parents as they age and their desire to see complementary care for them. Her many years of experience treating patients with Naturopathic Medicine and addressing her own family's health concerns mean that Lorraine is well equipped to provide counsel and support.
