About Lei Gu
Lei Gu obtained her undergraduate honours degree in biological sciences and neuroscience at the University of Toronto. After working for a year in the pharmaceutical industry, Lei decided to pursue her passion in alternative health care. Two years upon graduating from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM), Dr. Gu ND furthered her education in traditional chinese medicine at The Advanced Academic College of The Canadian Society of Chinese Acupuncture. She was trained by Doctors Gengmin Tang MD and Wenzhong Xu MD. These two doctors not only have had over 25 years of practice experience but also over 20 years of teaching experience at the Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She has completed her residency and fellowship in the Marsden Centre cancer care programs.
Dr. Gu ND taught part time at the University of Toronto and the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. She also was a facilitator for a colorectal cancer support group at the North York location.
