About Kristina Brooks
Kristina is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor, and has been part of the Cambridge Centre for Health and Wellness team since early 2009. Born in Tecumseh, Ontario, Kristina later moved to Guelph to complete her Honours Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Guelph in 2003. With a strong passion for health and wellness, and the desire to positively influence others, she completed her training at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. Kristina acknowledges that each person is unique, and provides an individualized approach to treating her patients. Her clinical focus is on family health, as she treats a wide variety of conditions affecting infants to seniors. Kristina recognizes that prevention and patient education are essential to making long term interventions to take an active role in ones health. As an active member in the community, she frequently gives information seminars on common health issues at various workplaces and community groups within Cambridge. Kristina is a member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Medicine, The Cambridge Chamber of Commerce and the International Society of Sports Nutrition. She enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle through hiking, horseback riding and coaching children and adults in competitive and recreational riding. She currently resides in Guelph, with her husband, Jon.
