About Kristin Schnurr
Since 2005, I have worked in Victoria as a Naturopathic Physician and Acupuncturist with a diverse and fulfilling naturopathic family practice. While I have a special interest in Endocrinology, I work with people of all ages and with any range of health concerns. In my practice, the focus is on the creation of health, rather than the treatment of a specific disease. I work with the knowledge that every person has a unique history that is lived and breathed through their entire being. This story will be carefully considered in supporting your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health and well-being.
I graduated from Queens University where I earned an B.Sc (Honours) in Life Sciences with a focus in Endocrinology. During my undergraduate years I studied traditional healing in Kenya and held a volunteer position at Delek Hospital in northern India where Ayurvedic Doctors work alongside Western Doctors in a respectful and integrative environment. These experiences, along with my personal health journey, inspired me to pursue an education in medicine at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto where I graduated as a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine in 2005.
