About Kimberly Ostero
Dr. Kimberly Ostero BSc., ND was born in Fort St. John and raised in the area. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree focusing on training applicable to becoming a naturopathic physician (Biological Sciences, Psychology) at the University of Alberta in 2000. She studied Naturopathic Medicine at Bastyr University in Kenmore (Seattle), Washington, and completed four years of medical studies at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine in New Westminster BC where she earned her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine.
As a naturopathic physician, Dr. Ostero has successfully written her NPLEX and CNPBC board examinations to become a licensed naturopathic physician in British Columbia. She attends multiple conferences each year throughout North America so she is able to provide the most current and research-based care for her patients. As of 2019, Dr. Ostero has attended over 100 conferences, workshops, and seminars to provide the best care and naturopathic medical knowledge for her patients! Dr. Ostero has advanced her education in pain management (Prolotherapy and Perineural Injection Treatment) to help her patients with chronic and acute pain. Dr. Ostero has and continues to attend multiple conferences on Anti-Aging Medicine, Functional Medicine, Lyme Disease and its associated sequelae, Environmental Medicine (toxin assessment and treatment), and Naturopathic Oncology (Cancer).
