About Kerry Gryba
Dr. Kerry Gryba BSc, ND
I started my journey in Gilbert Plains, Manitoba growing up on a grain farm. After highschool I moved to Winnipeg to pursue a science degree from the University of Manitoba. While there I was faced with the tough decision, "What do I want to be when I grow up?". Health care and prevention were my only ideas, and I had no idea how to meld the two into one career. I wish I could spin some romantic tale about how Naturopathic Medicine "found me", but doing a career suitability quiz is not very romantic. Naturopathic Doctor came out as my number one option. Problem was I had no clue what a Naturopathic Doctor did!
A quick google search later, and I could not believe my luck! To stumble upon a career that actually mixed prevention, biochemistry, and health care gave me my Oprah "A-ha" moment.
Upon completing my degree in Winnipeg I moved to Toronto to start the rigorous 4 year program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. It was a gruelling, but profoundly rewarding program. The final year at school was spent seeing patients. I was fortunate enough to be a part of two new clinical rotations, the Fibromyalgia and Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue shift and a free community clinic shift at Sherbourne Health Centre in downtown Toronto.
In May of 2013 I graduated and made the move back to Manitoba. I am very excited to be back in the Parkland area, and even more excited to get to know YOU!
Let's work together so you can Flourish!
