About Katherine Cheah
Dr. Cheah, N.D. grew up in Malaysia, and moved to Ontario when she was 18. She received her undergraduate degree in Health Sciences from the University of Waterloo. Originally, her plan was to go into a career in conventional medicine, but her experience with, and interest in, complementary health practices led her to pursue Naturopathic Medicine instead. Subsequently, she decided to attend the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, where she graduated in 1999. She moved to Regina in 2000, and after a quick crash course in surviving a Saskatchewan winter, learned to love life on the Prairies.
She enjoys helping her patients identify and work past the physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and other obstacles that are preventing them from enjoying optimal health, and is particularly interested in children’s health issues and mental health.
