About Kate Wharton
Dr. Kate completed her undergraduate degree in Life Science at Queen's University, She has been practicing as a licensed Naturopathic Doctor (ND) since graduation from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2003. Dr. Kate has taught Anatomy and Physiology at the College level and frequently gives health-improvement seminars to community groups, businesses and organizations.
Dr. Kate is a Naturopathic Doula and perinatal care enthusiast, a certified Autism practitioner (DAN!/ ARI and MAPS) and certified Restorative Medicine practitioner. She has also been a contributing author/ expert for Life Balance/ Live in Balance Magazine, LifePeak Magazine and NOW Magazine. As a mum of 2 boys (and a big hairy dog), when not busy with patients, Dr. Kate loves spending time running, hiking and exploring outdoors with her family and growing nutritious foods in her organic garden. Dr. Kate is passionate about helping people of all ages, particularly children, understand and care for their special health needs and challenges.
