Dr. Karen Simatovic is an experienced Naturopathic Doctor, practicing in the Binbrook area for the past 15 years. She follows a patient centered approach to healthcare, taking the time to carefully listen to her patients concerns and encourages them to strive for optimal health through empowerment and patient education. Dr. Simatovic, ND is currently accepting patients from Binbrook, Ancaster, Hamilton, Stoney Creek, Cayuga, Dunnville and surrounding areas.
In her practice, Dr. Simatovic uses a wide variety of modalities including nutrition, nutraceuticals, acupuncture, homeopathy, botanical medicine, lifestyle counselling, hormone testing and facial rejuvenation acupuncture.
She sees a variety of health concerns but has a special interest in women's health, infertility, digestive concerns, detoxification, weight loss, anxiety/depression and chronic health concerns.
Dr. Simatovic carefully focuses on the whole patient, not simply the disease/condition they are presenting with. She takes a thorough health history and considers past health and genetic predispositions when formulating her treatment plans. She spends the time necessary to get to know her patients well and forms lasting patient-doctor relationships with them.
Dr. Karen Simatovic holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from McMaster University as well as a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (2006) . She is registered with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO) and is a member of both the Ontario and Canadian Associations of Naturopathic Medicine.
