About Karen Parmar
Dr. Karen Parmar ND co-founded Integrated Health Clinic in 2000. She has always had a practice centered around womens health, pediatrics, and infertility. In 2010 she went on an extended maternity leave and had the last two of four boys. She has recently returned to practice with a narrower focus. Dr. Karen Parmar has continued to study the causes and currently recommended treatments for infertility. She offers many therapies and options for those couples suffering with difficulties conceiving., utilizing a range of treatments from nutritional and herbal support to ovarian stimulation and IUI (intrauterine insemination).
Dr. Parmar, during her maternity leave, received advanced training and board certification in IUD (intrauterine devise) insertions. She also studied ultrasound and utilizes that form of imagery to guide the insertions. She inserts IUDs for her own patients, and also takes referrals from NDs and MDs throughout the Fraser Valley.
Dr. Karen Parmar has been the president of the CNPBC, the regulatory body for Naturopathic Physicians in B.C., since 2010.
