About Kara Dionisio
Dr. Kara Dionisio, B.Sc, M.Sc, ND is a sparkly-geeky-lady-doctor-in-heels with a clinical focus in women’s health and hormones. Equipped with expert hormone detective skills, she helps women understand (and even fall in love with) their hormones.
She is the owner and clinical director of Health Squad in Owen Sound.She is the clinical director of Health Squad where she is curating some of the coolest health professionals around 'The Sound.’ She is a mom to two adorable feisty kids and wife to her sexy red-bearded Irish dude.

Kara Dionisio, Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine, received her undergraduate degree with honours in Nutrition and Nutraceutical Science from Guelph University where she earned the Brian Walker Memorial Scholarship for highest academic achievement in nutritional sciences. She graduated at the top of her program with a Master of Science in Human Nutrition and Metabolism from the University of Aberdeen and the Rowett Research Institute in Aberdeen, Scotland, where she researched the effects of omega-3 fatty acids on the endothelial function of blood vessels. In 2008, Kara completed another four years of graduate study at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in Toronto, which is one of the six schools in North America eligible to grant the designation of Naturopathic Doctor (N.D). While at CCNM she was selected to train in the Integrative Oncology Internship program and the Paediatric Internship Program. She is registered in good standing with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO).
