About Julie Clark
Growing up watching my mother in her profession as a nurse, I knew I wanted to help people just like her. My interest in naturopathic medicine began after witnessing my mother’s health improve immensely with the use of naturopathic therapies after she was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. I was fascinated with the ideas and principles that naturopathic medicine encompassed and this fascination continues today in my career as a Naturopathic Doctor.
I have also experienced my own health struggles including a 10 year battle with acne breakouts, anxiety, digestive concerns (IBS), hormonal imbalances (i.e., thyroid, cortisol) and I’ve experienced burn out. With the use of various naturopathic medicine tools, I’ve been able to trust my body’s ability to heal and I have learned valuable tools and habits for nourishing my body. I now feel radiant and better than ever after regaining my health.
In my free time I enjoy travelling especially back home to PEI to visit my family, yoga and meditation with a love for practicing kundalini yoga, reading mystery and romance novels, spending time in nature especially in the mountains or anywhere near water, golfing (I'm working towards scoring under 100) and cooking with my partner, Mike. I'll be honest, Mike does most of the cooking
