About Jo-Anne Mina
I completed my naturopathic medical degree from The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine with an internship in sports medicine and externship working with HIV/AIDS patients in downtown Toronto. I am registered in good standing with The College of Naturopathy of Ontario.
I definitely knew from a young age that I wanted to help people. Becoming a naturopathic doctor and growing through my years of practice have allowed me to become a health coach and supporter for each patient I work with — aiming to optimize their mental, emotional and physical well-being while keeping in mind the practicalities of life. We are much more complex than a sign or symptom, numbers on blood tests or even a diagnosis.
Joining the Dhaya Integrative family hits close to home and I couldn’t be more excited to be a part of this team of Integrative Cancer Care. Knowing that cancer has affected my family and many others, my passion to be a strong advocate and educator for my patients has grown immensely. As I continue my general health practice with interests in digestive health, hormone balancing and anti-aging, I am driven to become an integral part of Dhaya’s cancer care patient’s journey.
