About Jennifer Hendry-Lynn
Originally from St. Catharines, Ontario, Dr. Hendry-Lynn completed her Bachelor of Science degree with first class honours at Brock University. After University, she went on to graduate with honours from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, Ontario, as a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine. She is a trained DAN! practitioner, and is currently fully licensed under the Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy- Naturopathy. She is also an active member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors.
The Naturopathic Doctor program is a four-year intensive professional program, which focuses on biomedical sciences, clinical sciences, and naturopathic therapeutics. With over 3,000 hours of classroom training and more than 1,200 hours of clinical experience, Dr. Hendry-Lynn is highly trained. She completed her 12-month clinical internship at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic in North York; during that time she was also selected to be a Naturopathic intern at the L.A.M.P. Community Centre, a Naturopathic outreach clinic, for 4 months. After completing 8 years of post-secondary education, Dr. Hendry-Lynn is a proficient primary health care provider practicing a combination of contemporary and alternative medicines.
In her daily practice, Dr. Hendry-Lynn utilizes a number of different modalities including: homeopathy, botanical medicine, Traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture, clinical nutrition, physical medicine, hydrotherapy and lifestyle counseling. Her gentle and effective treatments aim to treat the root cause of disease. It is her goal to achieve physical, mental and emotional health in all of her patients, and therefore her treatment plans focus on all aspects of the individual using both natural and safe treatments. Moreover, her enthusiasm for health and wellness helps her effectively educate her patients on how they can reach their optimal health, while also helping them understand the underlying cause of disease in their own body.
