About Jennifer Doan
Dr. Jennifer Doan is a warm and supportive Homeopathic Doctor, Naturopathic Physician, lecturer and teacher. Her passion is helping people to move to a platform where they can enjoy their lives and have the emotional and spiritual experiences they want. She is a teacher of teachers and a teacher of Doctors. Her professional background includes lecturing, supervising and developing curriculum for students of Naturopathic and Alternative medicine. She has been in practice for the past 17 years and continues to nurture and grow her passion for the healing arts.
She has travelled extensively, obtaining her first Naturopathic Degree in 1993 from the Australasian College of Natural Therapies, in Sydney Australia. Upon return to Canada, she added a strong conventional medicine foundation, training in Traditional Chinese Medicine while gaining a second Naturopathic Degree at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto.
She has studied with Dr. H.L. Chitkara in his homeopathic practice in Delhi, India. She has studied with Louis Klein in Vancouver completing the three-year Master Program. She currently studies with Rajan Sankaran and the Bombay school. Her studies take her across Canada, to India and across Europe.
She is passionate about Classical Homeopathy. She draws on Traditional Chinese medicine, Naturopathic medicine and holistic therapies based on Mindfulness. For the past several years, she has blended state-of-the art testing with mind-body medicine and cutting edge alternative medicine. She loves to learn and travels to seminars around the world to study with some of the best practitioners.
Dr. Doan is a member of the BC Society of Homeopaths and Canadian Society of Homeopaths. She is a licensed Naturopathic Physician with the CNPBC and Registered Acupuncturist licensed with the CTCMA. She has been long term faculty and senior supervisor at Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine, mentor in the Naturopathic community and lecturer at Provincial and National Naturopathic Conferences. She has lectured at the Canadian College of Naturopathic medicine and Dominion Herbal College.
Dr. Doan is an avid photographer in her spare time and the images on this website were taken by her (www.jenniferdoanphotography.com). She is also a musician, and you will find her on Sundays playing and performing with the North Shore Capilano Flute Choir.
