About Jennifer Cox
Dr. Jennifer Cox ND, is a licensed and registered Naturopathic Doctor in the province of Ontario. She is a graduate from the University of Waterloo where she obtained her Bachelor of Science. During her final year at CCNM, Dr. Cox completed a one-year internship at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic with a focus in mental health. Also during her internship, Dr. Cox provided naturopathic healthcare at the Parkdale Community Health Center in Toronto and to the Aboriginal community at Anishnawbe Health Toronto.
Dr. Cox regularly advances her skills through continuing education, specifically in functional medicine diagnositics. This has led to her additional training in the endocrine system and advanced pharmacology to prescribe thyroid and bio-identical hormones when indicated.
As a Naturopathic Doctor, Dr. Cox takes her time to ensure that she has a complete understanding of her patients' health concerns and goals. This allows Dr. Cox to assess the complexities of human physiology to address the root cause and develop a treatment plan that suits each patient’s individual needs. Her approach is to work with you and your Medical Doctor to balance your health and maximize results. Ultimately, she is grateful to be in a profession where true health can be achieved and aspires to see her patients succeed. Her naturopathic family practice with additional focus in weight loss, digestion, thyroid and hormones, is located within the Niagara Orthopaedic Institute in Niagara Falls, Ontario.
