About Jennifer Corbeil
Dr. Jen Corbeil has been a practicing Naturopathic Doctor and resident of Victoria since 2008, and a member of the wonderful and supportive team at this clinic since 2009.
She is continually in awe of her island surroundings and draws on the beauty and harmony of nature to inspire her in practice.
Jen graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto in 2006, following four years of intensive study, including a year of clinical internship. She completed undergraduate studies, primarily in sociology, at the University of British Columbia before her personal health journey and growing fascination with naturopathic medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine led her to change course and pursue medical sciences and naturopathy.
Jen obtained her licensure from the College of Naturopathic Physicians of B.C. and is an active member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND) and the British Columbian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (BCNA). In addition to her naturopathic training, Jen is a Reiki and Craniosacral therapy practitioner and has extended her training in homeopathy through numerous seminars, including a 3-year Master Homeopathic Clinician course with Lou Klein in Vancouver.
Through exposure to Shamanic Medicine, meditation and yoga, Jen has pursued her own spiritual growth and incorporates these practices into her work with patients. Jen is passionate about working with patients of all ages and conditions to restore balance and vibrant health to their whole self body, mind and spirit. In her practice, she often utilizes homeopathy, acupuncture combined with Reiki, diet and lifestyle changes and botanical medicine, depending on what best matches a patients unique constitution.
Jen creates a non-judgmental, safe environment for patients to explore all aspects of their health and facilitate true healing.
Outside of her naturopathic practice, Jen loves being a mother and the endless lessons she receives from her son, Liam. She also loves exploring this beautiful island via hiking, biking and walking; visiting farmers markets and enjoying local, organic food; gardening; and spending time with her husband, Brian, as well as family and friends.
