About Jennifer Cham
Dr. Cham was born and raised in Vancouver, BC. She began her career as a registered nurse, working in acute medicine, critical care, IV therapy and PICC teams. She taught nursing as a clinical instructor with the UBC School of Nursing from 2005 - 2014, at hospitals throughout the Lower Mainland. She continued her education in naturopathic medicine which focuses on health promotion, prevention and treatment of acute and chronic illness, and optimization of human performance. She has a special interest in sports medicine. After completing her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine, she took courses with the American Association of Orthopaedic Medicine for prolotherapy and PRP training.
Dr. Cham moved to Pemberton, BC to realize a lifelong dream of living in the mountains she loves. At least in part due to her experience, Dr. Cham is dedicated to practicing integrative medicine. She is certified in pharmaceutical prescribing, IV therapy, prolotherapy and PRP, and neural therapy. She has continued to teach IV therapy to health care professionals as a certified member of the Canadian Vascular Access Association. Her passion is helping each person live a healthier, more energetic, and vibrant life.
When not working, Dr. Cham can be found skiing, biking, paddleboarding, or hiking in the Sea to Sky. She also volunteers as a member of the UBC Women's Hockey Alumni Executive, has been a volunteer Whistler Mountain ski patroller since 2019, and an RCMP Auxiliary member since 2005.
