MY APPROACH
BOTANICAL MEDICINE
Botanical medicine is the practice of using medicinal plants and extracts to improve overall health and treat disease. The use of herbs in various forms: teas, tinctures, or capsules are used for their healing effects and nutritional value.
TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE (TCM)
Traditional Chinese Medicine is based on balance, harmony, and energy. TCM uses various mind and body practices, such as acupuncture, acupressure, cupping, and meditation, as well as herbal formulas to address health problems.
EMDR EYE MOVEMENT AND DESENSITIZATION REPROCESSING
Interactive psychotherapy, helps relieve psychological stress following traumatic experiences. A typical EMDR session involves the therapist assisting the client to relive the triggering or the traumatic experience and simultaneously, the therapist will be directing the client’s eye movements and breathing to allow for adaptive reprocessing.
