About Heidi Rootes
Dr. Heidi Rootes, N.D.Dr. Heidi Rootes completed her undergraduate degree at McGill University with a major in Human Anatomy and Physiology before returning home to Vancouver to complete a second degree at the University of British Columbia in Education. After teaching science and math at the secondary level for four years Dr. Rootes returned to school and received her medical training at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine.
Dr. Rootes has been a Naturopathic physician practicing in downtown Vancouver for nine years. In April 2014 she opened the IV wellness boutique located at 1060 Homer street in Vancouver.
Dr. Rootes practices with a strong belief in prevention and follows the naturopathic principles of doctor as teacher, treat the whole person and focus on the cause of the condition. Following these beliefs Dr. Rootes is able to develop an individual treatment plan for each of her patients while educating them thus empowering people in their own healthcare.
