About Heidi Fritz
Dr Heidi Fritz has been a practicing naturopathic doctor since 2007. Her areas of clinical focus include: womens health (fertility, pregnancy care, menopause, endometriosis, PCOS, etc) and naturopathic cancer care. Heidi is a member of the Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians (OncANP), and is certified in the use of intravenous vitamin therapies, including intravenous vitamin C, the modified Myers cocktail, mistletoe therapy, and others. Heidi has completed advanced training in the use of IV therapies for cancer, as well as bioidentical hormone therapy (BHRT) for womens health.
In addition to clinical practice, Heidi serves as a Research Fellow at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM), responsible for conducting studies of natural medicine, with a focus on cancer therapy. Her studies include reviews of vitamin D, soy, flax, green tea, omega-3 fatty acids, and melatonin for breast and lung cancer, as well as research on the effectiveness of intravenous vitamin C. Her studies have been published in peer-reviewed medical journals. Heidi has lectured internationally on her research. She holds an honours undergraduate degree in Human Physiology and a Masters of Arts degree, both from the University of Toronto. Heidi has also practiced as a registered practical nurse in Multi-Organ Transplant at Toronto General Hospital, including a rotation at Princess Margaret Hospital, and is the recent recipient of an award from the Society of Integrative Oncology (SIO).
