Dr. Hania Armengol, BA, ND, is a registered and licenced Naturopathic Doctor practicing at the Ka Amaru Naturopathic Clinic, in Ottawa, Ontario. She received her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the Ontario College of Naturopathic Medicine in 1989, (now the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine), and her B.A. from the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario.

Personal Journey
Dr. Hania Armengol, N.D., was born in Managua, Nicaragua. When she 4 years old she was paralyzed. Her family took her to the best neurosurgeons and medical doctors in Nicaragua, Mexico and finally Houston. Their prognosis was not positive: she would spend the rest of her life in a wheelchair. It was her journey to recovery using natural therapies and yoga that led her to study Naturopathic Medicine and a relentless pursuit of healing methods.
Personal Philosophy
Dr. Armengol's main modality is Homeopathy and she studied under the personal tutelage of the great Homeopathic master, Dr. Francisco Eizayaga, M.D. in Argentina, 1989. She has also studied Homeopathy with Dr. Robin Murphy, N.D., Dr. Michael Bouko-Levy M.D. and Dr. Gerard Gueniot, M.D. She studied Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture with Dr. David Lam, N.D., M.D.
Dr. Hania, as she is called, believes that the mind-body connection is the key to health and healing. She not only treats the physical body, but also addresses the mental, emotional and spiritual state of her patients.
She believes that emotional and psychological traumas can contribute to the development of illness, as well as negative emotions, limiting decisions and limiting beliefs. This is what prompted her to study Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Time Line Therapy, Hypnosis, New Medicine and Quantum Physics; the desire to offer complete solutions and healing to her patients.
In her practice, Dr. Hania treats the entire patient: mind, emotions, body and spirit. She is fully aware that every person is unique, the product of diverse life experiences. Every patient is treated as an individual and her protocols reflect individual uniqueness. She uses Homeopathy, Acupuncture, NES, Chinese Medicine, Botanicals, Nutrition, Applied Kinesiology (AK) and Matrix Repatterning in combination with NLP, Time Line Therapy, Hypnosis, and Quantum Physics to achieve the maximum effect. The source of the problem is identified and a solution attempted using one of her many modalities. Her approach is very personal and dedicated and she is constantly studying and learning new modalities to serve her patients.
